Caitlin and Adrian’s Sunlit Summer Wedding at Whitley Hall Hotel, Sheffield

Caitlin and Adrian celebrated their wedding on a perfect summer day at the picturesque Whitley Hall Hotel in Sheffield. With the sun shining brightly, the scene was set for a truly magical day. Peacocks roamed the grounds, adding an elegant and whimsical touch to the hotel’s already breathtaking surroundings.

When I arrived, bridal prep was in full swing. Caitlin, her bridal party, and the makeup artists were in high spirits, sharing laughs and excitement. One memorable moment involved a good chuckle over a now-viral video featuring my friend Tom from Hitched Productions, who accidentally set his hair on fire while filming another wedding. It was great to see Caitlin and her friends enjoying the light-hearted moment as they got ready.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and the champagne was flowing freely. Meanwhile, Adrian and his groomsmen, including Caitlin and Adrian’s children, were engaged in their spirited preparations – a delightful and sometimes chaotic scene as the little ones got dressed for the day. I captured some wonderful moments with the chaps before returning to Caitlin just in time to see her slipping into her dress. Watching her parents’ reactions was a heartfelt highlight, especially as their little one, George, lit up at seeing his mum in her beautiful white dress.

Their ceremony took place outdoors on Whitley Hall’s terrace. The setup was exquisite, with a string quartet providing an effervescent playlist that added an enchanting atmosphere to the emotional vows. Surrounded by loved ones and nature, Caitlin and Adrian’s ceremony felt like a beautiful dream come to life.

After the “I dos,” everyone enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception with delicious canapés, garden games, and plenty of laughter and conversation. The love and joy from family and friends were palpable as I took family photos and captured some intimate portraits of Caitlin and Adrian in the hotel’s stunning gardens.

When it was time for the wedding breakfast, Caitlin and Adrian made an enthusiastic entrance, greeted by cheers from their guests. After a delicious meal, heartfelt and humorous speeches brought tears and laughter, marking another memorable chapter of their day. As the speeches wrapped up, everyone took full advantage of the warm summer evening, relaxing, enjoying pick-and-mix sweets, and savouring every moment.

The evening culminated with Caitlin and Adrian’s first dance outside on the terrace, bathed in the glow of festoon lights and under the open sky. With the warm summer air and the ambient lights above, it felt like a scene straight out of the Amalfi Coast – an absolutely perfect end to an unforgettable day.
