Katie & Tom’s Glorious Late September Wedding at Eyam Hall

The sun shone brightly for Katie and Tom’s late September wedding at the picturesque Eyam Hall. From start to finish, their day was filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that made it truly unforgettable.

A Morning of Joyful Preparations

Katie’s morning started in the charming four-poster bedroom at Eyam Hall, where she got ready alongside her mum and bridesmaids. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, filled with plenty of laughter and heartfelt moments. One standout memory was a sweet exchange between Katie and her maid of honour involving a classic Whitby Glass Lucky Duck – a nod to cherished traditions from Harriet’s hometown.

Meanwhile, Tom and his groomsmen prepared in the cosy garden hut. Amidst tying ties and fastening buttons, they also took on the vital task of arranging the Colin and Connie Caterpillar cake display. With the principal Colin and Connie proudly on center stage, surrounded by a collection of miniature versions, the setup was both endearing and creative. Although, it’s fair to say they might have had a little assistance from the friendly team at Greedy Pig Catering!

A Stunning Ceremony in the Sunshine and Celebrations on the Lawn

Emotions ran high as the bridesmaids and Katie’s parents caught their first glimpse of her in her breathtaking wedding dress. The sun continued to shine, providing the perfect backdrop for an emotional ceremony. Post-ceremony, the celebrations moved to the beautiful lawn at Eyam Hall. Guests sipped on drinks, indulged in delicious canapés, and enjoyed rounds of crazy golf – a fun and unique addition that had everyone laughing (and a few cursing in frustration). Katie and Tom had specifically requested candid moments, and capturing the spontaneous joy and laughter during these activities was an absolute delight.

Portraits, Speeches, and Sweet Treats

Before dinner, we stole a few quiet moments for couples’ portraits while their guests were seated. The golden light of the late afternoon added a magical touch to the images. Then, it was time for speeches. Filled with humour, the speeches had everyone laughing and cheering, particularly Katie’s cheerful grandad, who radiated happiness throughout the entire day. Dinner concluded with a fun twist: a help-yourself ice cream station! Complete with all the toppings one could dream of, it was a hit with guests young and old alike.

A Party to Remember

Katie and Tom, both huge music lovers, had made it clear that the party was a crucial part of their day. And what a party it was! From a professional laser show to a lively conga line, the energy on the dance floor was electric. Documenting the laughter, dance moves, and pure joy was a true highlight.
