Lauren + Chris | Losehill House

Lauren + Chris tied the knot at the lovely Losehill House Hotel and it was my pleasure to document their day. Bridal prep was bustling with enthusiasm, and I could feel how excited everyone was getting. I spent the morning bouncing between bridal and groom prep at Losehill House. There were plenty of bubbles in both camps, and some of it got spilt in the groom’s camp—thankfully, not Chris with his suit and choice of drink! An emotional reveal to Lauren’s friends certainly added to the morning’s excitement.

The ceremony was accompanied by some lovely readings and a very cute entrance from the flower girls, who indeed were never far from the centre of attention on the day. I loved the little looks Lauren and Chris gave each other throughout the ceremony, too. especially so when Chris’s brother was taken over with emotion. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good crier at a wedding!

The weather thankfully played ball, and the drinks reception and canapes were held outside. Plenty of hugs and bottles of beer outside on the terrace at Losehill always add to what makes this a special venue. After some time with family and friends, we did the group photos that Chris and Lauren wanted before nipping onto the lane to do some portraits (just in case the weather decided to turn). We got some lovely light and plenty of first dance practice for these two while I took plenty of frames.

They kicked off their meal with speeches, and even better, they finished their meal with a round of Baby Guinness for everyone; from there on, it set the tone for a great party with plenty of fun and dancing.
